Biography

Dr. Piper has been practicing podiatric medicine since 1999. He is a graduate of Ferris State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Pre-Med. Dr. Piper then completed his podiatric medical training at Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon graduation from Scholl he entered residency at Catholic Health Partners in Chicago for three years of medical and surgical training dealing with all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Piper has special interests in dealing with trauma, sports medicine, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Piper is a former Adjunct Faculty at Grand Valley State University through their Physician Assistant (PA) program where he lectured to first and second-year students. He is also the past president of the Western Division of the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association and also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Piper is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Piper is certified in foot surgery and one of the only physicians in the Muskegon area who is certified in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
