Dr. Stork is a general urologist and Assistant Professor at Michigan Medicine West Shore Urology in Muskegon, Michigan. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He practices general urology; however, he has a special interest in treating urinary stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, incontinence, benign and malignant conditions of the kidney, and prostate cancer.
In addition to his clinical practice, he is actively engaged in social media. He believes social media is an exciting tool that can be used to improve health care literacy and the patient experience. He regularly posts updates about his community and his practice on Twitter and Facebook. He also makes regular posts on his patient blog, physician blog and, from time to time, he writes guest posts for other blog sites. He helped start the International Urology Journal Club on Twitter (#Urojc), and serves on the American Urological Association Social Media Work Group and the Urology Care Foundation Publications and Technology Committee. He also serves on the Clinical Practice Board of the Urology Times.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, beekeeping, volunteering for Step Up, and writing. He writes on a variety of different topics for a wide variety of publications, including a children’s book about board bees.
