Dr. Walker joined the University of Michigan Department of Urology in 2017 after serving six years as a urologist in the U.S. Air Force. He grew up in South Dakota, and then came to Michigan to do his undergraduate studies at Hillsdale College. He received his M.D. from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his residency training at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He was then stationed in both England and Alaska with the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Walker is board-certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His clinical interests include genitourinary cancer, minimally invasive surgery, kidney stone surgery and prevention, voiding dysfunction, and men’s health, including male infertility and erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Walker and his wife Jaclyn have three young children who keep them very busy. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family, as well as fly-fishing and hunting.
